Driven Student Ministry is the ministry serving students in 6th through 12th grade at Pinecrest Baptist Church. DSM shatters the stereotype that church is boring! We have many options throughout the week for students to connect with other students and caring adults.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF DRIVEN STUDENT MINISTRY?
DSM exists to…
- REACH non-believing students
- CONNECT them to other Christians
- Help them GROW in their faith
- Challenge the growing to SERVE in a ministry
- Teach them to HONOR God with their life
WHAT ARE THE BIBLICAL PURPOSES OF DSM?
REACH: Evangelism
- Loving others and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with them.
CONNECT: Fellowship
- Creating and maintaining authentic relationships with other followers of Jesus.
GROW: Discipleship
- Growing spiritually on their own: Learning more about God’s character, the world, and one’s self while personalizing and deepening God’s purposes.
SERVE: Ministry
- Meeting needs with love and serving others.
HONOR: Worship
- Celebrating God’s presence
